Your agent keeps running locally — in VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, a JetBrains IDE, or any terminal on the codeam-cli — while you stay in control from your phone, with whatever agent you already use: Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor's agent, Cascade, Copilot, JetBrains AI Assistant, or Junie.

Best for developers running long or autonomous agent sessions who don't want to be chained to their desk — approve permission prompts, redirect a session, and catch failures from your phone while the agent keeps working. It has the broadest agent + IDE support in this list, so it fits whatever you already run. If you never step away mid-session you may not need it; if you do, closing that gap is the whole point.

Omnara

A command center for Claude Code and Codex, available on desktop, web, iOS and Android. It pairs with a CLI on your machine and lets you drive those agents remotely.

Cursor iOS app

Cursor ships an official iOS app, but it is a chat client tied to Cursor's cloud — not a remote control of the Cursor agent running on your laptop. You can ask questions and get code back, but it cannot edit files in your local repo or pick up your laptop's project context.

Useful for asking quick coding questions on your phone. Not a substitute for CodeAgent Mobile or Omnara if your goal is "drive my AI agent on my laptop from my phone".
